OptiFeeSH consortium aims to launch a new IT solution for fish farmers to select best combination of feeds and feeding rates for their specific farm conditions and optimization targets (e.g. fish growth, FCR or economic conversion). For that we want to use nutritional-based fish simulation models, together with optimization algorithms to obtain the optimal choices. After creating their optimal feeding and production plan, OptiFeeSH will allow farmers to monitor production performance and to identify the reasons for deviations, if any, and re-adapt plan to achieve their production target.
