ValorMar will develop innovative technological solutions to increase the valorization and efficient use of marine resources based on the circular economy concept, and integrating the aquaculture, food, biomedical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. Based on the research, development, and demonstration of new products and on the improvement of production processes, ValorMar aims at proposing innovative and sustainable solutions for generating new healthy seafood products with high traceability through their production and value chain. The products, processes, and services developed through this project will rely on the transversal mobilization of human resources with extensive knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of R&D projects in the thematic areas included in ValorMar.
