ORNAFEEDS will comprise a series of technological and nutrition trials to generate essential knowledge for developing new feeds with high levels of marine microalgae and zooplankton biomasses for ornamental shrimp, fish, and coral, which are innovative features. In addition, to their innovative formulations with the above-mentioned ingredients, these feeds will be produced by ionic gelation, a methodology for forming hydrogel beads that allow providing fresh ingredients to ornamental shrimp, fish, and coral. Three premium feeds for the aquarium market will be produced.
