SEAFOOD TOMORROW aims to improve the economic and environmental sustainability of the seafood production and processing industries by applying eco-innovative multidisciplinary tools for:
(i) developing aquafeed products from the byproducts of other food industries;
(ii) assessing and validating the production of seafood specifically adapted to senior or young consumers;
(iii) optimising the strategies for assessing seafood quality and safety.

The project comprises a consortium of 19 interdisciplinary research teams, 4 IAGS, and 13 SMEs with diverse and complementary skills in the validation and optimisation of seafood products.
