MAGNIFICENT aims to develop and validate the production of food, aquafeed, and cosmetic ingredients from microalgae through the environmentally sustainable and economically feasible processing of selected algal strains. The growth conditions, production concentrations, and separation and purification processes of the selected algal strains will be optimized taking EU regulations into account and the market and socio-economic impact of the produced ingredients and their utilization.
