Mitigating the effects of stress during the early life stages of fish is a critical challenge. In this context, the FORTIFISH project aims at bringing to market diets fortified with bioactive peptides for the early stages of fish targeted for aquaculture (e.g. seabass and gilthead seabream) and biomedical research (zebrafish). As a follow-up of project NOSTRESS (ALG-01-0247-FEDER-047122),  the FORTIFISH project expects to demonstrate that functional diets play a key role in an increasing fish welfare during the most sensitive phases of the life cycle.
