The NOSTRESS project aims to research and develop a functional additive that will result in a new generation of fortified foods to reduce stress-related losses in the cultivation of marine fish larvae and juveniles. This additive with anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective and anti-nociceptive (analgesic) properties will reduce growth losses and mortalities due to stress situations inherent to cultivation processes, allowing a reduction in production costs and an improvement in the welfare of farmed fish.
