FiT is a new product developed by SPAROS, in partnership with Riasearch. FiT applies validated scientific models to simulate a given species energy and protein requirements. This way the minimum feeding rate that ensures the target fish growth can be provided for each feed in use at the cages or tanks. Farmers can use FiT to optimize feeding according to its targeted growth. Current available species at the Standard and Pro plans are the gilthead seabream, European seabass and rainbow trout. In addition, we can implement calibrations to other species or specific strains according to user request and available data.
