EASYTRAIN Final Online Webinar Highlights Sustainable Aquaculture Research

The EASYTRAIN project concludes with a final online event on January 28th, 2025. This event will present innovative aquaculture solutions, including Rodrigo Mendes’ PhD research on organic, circular economy-driven fish feeds.

The EASYTRAIN project concludes with a Final Online Webinar to share the achievements of its six Early Stage Researchers (ESRs). Over four years, academic and industrial partners across Europe collaborated to advance sustainability in aquaculture.

Rodrigo Mendes, who completed his PhD with SPAROS, Universidad de Murcia, and CCMAR under the EC´s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions program, will present his research titled “Novel fish feeds: trade-offs between sustainability, performance, and robustness.” His findings contribute to understanding sustainable feed solutions.

The event will also include presentations on aquaponics, fish welfare, and innovative feed systems, reflecting the broader impact of the EASYTRAIN initiative.
